Designpreneurs Toolkit 2020
What software do you need as a one of the Designpreneurs (Designer or Entrepreneurs) this coming 2020? We compiled the BEST of the BEST this 2020 as the Designpreneurs Toolkit 2020!
In 2018, we started this small project to gather the best tools and provide a guide for every one and all Designpreneurs who would want to design their way to success!
Here is a quick look at last year’s Designpreneurs Toolkit 2019
This coming year will be a bit different as we compiled the BEST Online and Offline (Desktop) software for Designpreneurs!
All in One Design Software
This is a new category we added last year, let’s face it, it is very convenient to have your graphics editor and your design assets all in one roof! This is the main reason, all-in-one design software as a service (SaaS) solutions have been very popular the past few decades. As a matter of fact, I have been using less and less of my desktop design software and using these web based (and some mobile based) solutions to design! Most were created to address the gap between the business and how fast social media has been evolving and cope up with the demands of regular content creation.
Canva may be the most popular design all-in-one solution out there! This is for good reasons, as the software is very user-friendly and has a mobile and table app! There’s a template for everything and almost all templates are FREE! The best templates and Design Assets are of course available for Canva PRO users as well as the feature to schedule social media postings, animations, magic resize, and more. Canva recently acquired Pixabay and Pexels so this has incredibly increased the images inside the platform.
Crello is a project of DepositPhotos, a popular stock photo marketplace. The strength of Crello is for its built in templates for Social Media Animations so you can easily share for instagram posts and stories. You can buy stock photos at $1 each from the app itself for more options. It recently reached 1.5M users and is growing daily, thanks to its growing number of templates and introduced a Team plan.
Design Wizard is a new comer in our Designer software platform All-in-one! Design Wizard takes the time and effort out of creating visual content. They have thousands of templates and over 1 million images that can be instantly tailored to suit every Designpreneur needs.
Pixteller has over a million stock photos and thousands of templates for social media and even animations (videos). They have a very robust timeline editor for their animations which runs on just about any web browser. Do check them out and try their FREE plan.
RelayThat is one of the newest tools that I have been falling in love with because of the ease and fast workflow for creating different social media assets for just about every social media channel. You start with Design Assets which can be imported from your website or upload it manually, change the colors, add some stock photos, and voila! It does everything using it’s built-in AI and thousand templates. Check them out via my link above!
Stencil focuses on creating social media assets and is built for speed and social sharing in mind. They have a lot of templates to keep your social media engagement team to last a lifetime! They tout themselves to be the fastest way to double your social engagement. Check them out by clicking on my referral link.
Lastly, but definitely not the least, is Visme. Originally for making powerful Infographics and Presentations, fast and easy, Visme has evolved into a very powerful tool that you can use for just about anything that you want to design. Visme will be evolving to its 3rd version of the Platform this Q4 of 2019 so 2020 it may introduce Videos to its platform! This entire graphic for the Designpreneurs Toolkit 2020 was designed using the Visme platform.
Visme allows for Fast and Easy Infographics Design with its Blocks System. Social Media Graphics can also be created in Visme. From Facebook to Twitter to Instagram to LinkedIn to Pinterest to Youtube, just about anything you would need to create for your Brand!
Online Video Editors
As they say, videos are the future and most certainly, Videos will dominate the Social Media world. What does that mean? You might have noticed that Videos have already dominated FACEBOOK, the largest Social Media Network, that in fact, their revamped interface both on Mobile and on the Desktop are built with Video in mind. Read our post here why Videos will Dominate the Digital Marketing space in 2019.
One of my newest favorites, Invideo is an online based video editor that can turn your BLOGS into an instant video! It also has an templates for other videos like promotional videos, stories, and more.
You can read more about our review of InVideo here.
One of my early favorites, Wave Video has since grown quickly as a marketers platform for video. They have a video calendar and a lot of video templates that is easily customizable with text and stickers! Here is a sample video using Wave Video
One of the online video editors that really caught my attention this year is Reevio. They are already on version 3.0 of their software and has started their subscription plans for its users and regular update of new templates. The video below was made entirely using the Reevio platform.
Videobolt is an Intro maker for most of its templates but it has other templates like Music Visualizers, Stories, and Video ads.
Simple 2D animations made easy! You get options for Standard (personal) and Enterprise (commercial) licenses but I suggest getting the latter one for more animation objects. Purchase Toonly HERE.
Animatron Studio is the earlier project of the Wave Video team. The project seems to have not been updated for quite some time and would love this product to reach its potential. Below are some sample videos using the platform. You can buy Animatron studio here.
This online video editor has a potential to be one of the top online video editors. It’s AI engine for converting BLOGS into VIDEOS is quite accurate. Do check them out and their ongoing LIFETIME DEAL here.
I have to try this online editor (PAID) but with original clips in its belt, I see some potential. Here is a sample video rendered using their FREE PLAN:
This post will be updated soon with the COMPLETE LIST!
